Purification Stages Inside the Purecom Prisma Station:
- 7-in-1 integrated candle with dual-thread path made of polypropylene fibers and carbon: It removes rust, dust, sand, and suspended impurities from the water. The carbon granules remove color, taste, and odor, ensuring chlorine-free water. This stage works efficiently by increasing the carbon’s surface area, which has a high capacity for absorbing impurities and serves as a primary purification stage in the desalination device.
- Membrane (Reverse Osmosis membrane): A semi-permeable membrane with pores 1/10,000 of a micron. Water passes through it from the higher concentration solution (saltwater) to fresh water using the pressure generated by the pump. RO is used to remove excess salts, viruses, bacteria, and heavy metals in water.
